LED Buying Guide
Some products may look similar to Glow products, but they are very different inside and out. When shopping online on price alone, you risk purchasing inferior products that could be poorly made and potentially dangerous.
We have put together this list of questions to ask when considering the purchase of LED products. Hopefully this will assist you in making a more informed purchasing decision.

Is the product certified to Australian Standards? |
|
Yes. All Glow products meet Australian Standards and are certified under CE and EU RoHS. Glow products also adhere to the latest addition to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)(CCA); Consumer Goods (Products Containing Button/Coin Batteries) Safety Standard 2020, Information Standard 2020 and the Consumer Goods (Button/Coin Batteries) Information Standard 2020. |

Is the outer product material made for Australian conditions? |

Yes. The Polyethylene material that is used for Glow products has a unique compound added that protects it from our climate. |

Are the internal LED electronics made for Australian conditions? |
|
Yes. They have been designed in Australia under license for Glow. |
|
Are the balls made for use in water? |
Yes. Beware of cheaper products that are not rated for use in pools. Glow Illuminated LED Sphere Balls are rated IP68, meaning they are waterproof and made for floating in pools. Anything less is not a waterproof product. |
